Set up CarPlay automations

1. Open Shortcuts on iPhone, choose Automation, then tap +.
2. Choose CarPlay, then Connects. Select Run Immediately or turn off Ask Before Running, if shown.
3. Add Parking Nudger's CarPlay connected action and save.
4. Create another CarPlay automation for Disconnects, add CarPlay disconnected, and allow it to run automatically.

These are personal automations that iOS does not let the app create for you. Set them up on each iPhone. A disconnect is recorded as a signal; it does not always produce a parking prompt immediately. The app waits for fresh, safe speed evidence and may suppress a prompt when a trip or previous parking makes it unsafe. Shortcuts and iOS cannot guarantee every automation will run. Read a parking sign

1. Open the parking flow in Parking Nudger and tap Scan sign .
2. Frame the sign and supplementary panels clearly, then capture it.
3. Review the recognized text and suggestions. Correct the zone, times and other details before saving.

Text recognition runs on your device. OCR can miss or misread text. Suggestions help with entry; they do not decide whether parking is legal. Check the whole sign, arrows, extra panels, dates, vehicle restrictions and local rules yourself.

Attach receipts to the right parking session

Open a session in Parking sessions, choose Add expense details or Edit expense details, and add files from the camera, Photos or Files. In another app’s share menu, choose Parking Nudger and select the active or a previous parking session.

The upcoming app update supports images, PDFs, email files (.eml) and text, up to 20 attachments of 12 MB each. Files stay on the importing device; iCloud syncs metadata only. Save the email as a file, share its text or take a photo if your mail app cannot share the email file.

Other useful features

• Parking and departure reminders: get help remembering start time, expiry and to check payment when you drive away.
• Shortcuts and Siri: check status or start a parking draft with the available Parking Nudger actions.
• Apple Watch, widgets and Live Activity: view a limited status without opening the app each time.
• Optional iCloud sync: sync selected parking data through your own private iCloud database.
• Receipts: import or scan a receipt, then review extracted suggestions before using them.

Features depend on compatible iPhone/iOS versions and permissions. The app never starts or stops a parking payment.

Getting started

Start a reminder manually and check the zone and end time. Automatic nudging is optional and needs the relevant sensor and notification permissions. Change permissions at any time in iPhone Settings.

Parking Nudger is available on the App Store.

Premium after an update

The app checks subscription status with Apple automatically. Wait for the check to finish. An active purchase should be recognised without another purchase. If access is still missing, use Restore Purchases with the Apple account used for the purchase.

TestFlight purchases are test purchases and can expire faster than a normal subscription. Read Apple's test-subscription guidance. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Data and privacy

Export or delete app data in Settings. Disable iCloud sync to use the app locally. Read the full privacy policy or terms and EULA.

Snooze all messages

Parking → Snooze all messages / Settings → Snooze all messages

Number of days: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Or choose a date and time: Date and time.

All reminders are paused, including those for active parking sessions. Any parking payment continues.
